Assignments
Details to come:
- Paper (30%) — Each student is required to write an academic essay by the end of classes.
- Web page/presentation (15% for webpage + 15% for presentation = 30%) — Each student will construct a web page and present their material to the class, either individually or in groups.
- Weblog (30%) — Each student will keep a blog of their reading and related matters. This is not as alarming as it may sound.
- Participation (10%) — Each student is expected to participate in class discussion, and attendance will be noted.
[N.B. Assistance will be provided for those new to the web; marks for online assignments will be for content, not for style (as long as it is readable); and paper-based alternatives will be accepted, without penalty.)
